My Galatians 2:10 Moments

"All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along." Galatians 2:10

Kevin and I have enrolled into The School of Urban Ministry, referred to as Mission Shift http://www.missionshift.org/promo.php

This one-year program will immerse us into a spiritual and demographic study of the multicultural needs of St. Louis inner and urban city. I have no idea what I'm doing other than following the call of Jesus who sent out his disciples. And when they went out, they were commanded to report what they did and saw; "The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor." Luke 7:22

It is my prayer that all these objectives will be freely given and received. It is my mission to inspire faith! Through prayer and purpose, it is my desire is to seek after Jesus and know Him more every day and along the way I get to be a part of His redemptive plan to save the lost and revive the saved!

My family served as a host family to a courageous 11-year old girl from Belize. She was with us October 2010 through April 2011. It began as a "mission project" but it quickly turned into something much bigger. The organization that matched us up is World Pediatric Group.

My husband and daughters continue to pour themselves out like a drink offering through the ministry of American Heritage Girls. We love and support an orphanage in Haiti at www.forhisgloryoutreach.org. These are not "projects." This is a life-style. It is not "what we do for Jesus."  It is "who we are in Christ Jesus, our Lord."
